Kingdom Work When Politics Are Secular

A Saturate Webinar

“Which candidate is the ‘most Christian’ candidate?” A version of this question introduces debates in church circles at every major US election. “My candidate goes to this church,” one side claims. “Well, mine upholds this Judeo-Christian value,” the other responds. But what do we do when politicians stop caring about Christianity, and when their platforms don’t try to convince people of faith that our values are the same as theirs?
Gord Fleming and Atanasio Segovia, church leaders in Canada and Mexico respectively, join Ben for this third “Gospel + Politics” webinar to give a glimpse into our collective post-Christendom future, where politics are fully secular but God’s Kingdom work has even greater opportunities for advancement.

Atanasio Segovia

Atanasio Segovia serves as the Director of Familia Soma. He oversees and is building out the full Soma Family expression for Latinos. Atanasio lives in Leon, Mexico with his wife Sunshine and his two sons: Noam and Pablo.
