Loving Our (Political) Enemies

A Saturate Webinar

Jesus tells us that it’s easy to love our friends, but that His followers also love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matt. 5:44). In this final episode of Saturate’s “Gospel + Politics” series, Ben hosts Soma/Saturate founder Jeff Vanderstelt and global activist and pastor Bob Roberts Jr. for a discussion on personal, loving relationships with those on different sides of various aisles, who might even be seen as political adversaries. We’ll hear their thoughts about how this reflects the heart of God toward all people, and answer your questions as well.

Dr. Bob Roberts Jr.

Pastor Bob is the founder of GlocalNet, a non-profit dedicated to mobilizing the church for transformation in the public square and co-founder of Multi-Faith Neighbors Network (MFNN), a multi-faith organization committed to creating international religious freedom through intentional cross-cultural relationships. Pastor Bob also started and led Northwood Church in Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX for the past 34 years.

Over the past 20 years Bob has been a trailblazer in the multi-faith peacemaking and international religious freedom arenas, frequently being called upon by the U.S. Department of State, United Nations, U.S. Islamic World Forum, World Economic Forum, ambassadors, international royal families, diplomats, policy leaders and others for his groundbreaking work in this field.
