Coaching Essentials

Coaching Skills Training for Church Leaders

Portland, OR

Saturate Coaching Skills Training is for churches who want to help their equipping leaders learn better coaching skills in order to support existing small groups.

This is a two day workshop from June 12-13, 2019 that strengthens coaching skills and helps participants learn how to gain traction in their leadership (missional communities, ministry teams, etc…) by asking instead of telling.

What to Expect:

Here’s what to expect in Portland! This training is for churches and leaders who want to be better equipped to focus on helping those they’re leading through listening to the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised he would not leave his followers on their own, but would send His Spirit (John 14:18-24) who would be the empowering force for mission (Luke 24:49).

If you are tired of telling leaders what to do, then this workshop is for you. Equipping your leaders to listen to the Spirit, and to guide others to do the same, is a key factor in helping them grow up into maturity. They won’t always have you with them, but they will always have the Holy Spirit.

Attendees can expect to learn how to:

  • Effectively support group leaders in listening to the Holy Spirit and creating self-directed actions and strategies
  • Guide group members in processes of self-discovery and Spirit-dependence
  • Learn to ask before telling
  • Learn to listen better and create a culture where people feel understood
